The market stalls alone are worth a visit, the Baroque-style art creating a unique open-air exhibition.

 

The facades of the stalls display colourful Baroque-style scenes typical for the Advent period. The lively painted figures, by artist Raja Schwahn-Reichmann, of people, angels, and animals, are inspired by the three-dimensionality of Baroque wall and ceiling paintings, repeatedly providing the observer with new and loving details to enjoy.

 

 

The buildings surrounding the Mozartplatz have continued the theme with authentic seasonal decorations, their lights and candles brightening the Advent season.

A variety of seasonal events, concerts and plays will be presented, encouraging guests to linger on.
